FFSC’s iconic Skill Pavilion is coming to Delhiwood 2023 exhibition in Delhi NCR. From March 2-5, the pavilion will provide solutions for a skilled workforce for woodworking and furniture-related industries. The venue is stall T-1020, Hall No 12, India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The Skill Pavilion was launched in 2020 as a unified platform to connect industry, professionals, students and institutions. This initiative from the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council has become synonymous with skilled workforce solutions for the industry.
At the pavilion, FFSC officers engage with entrepreneurs to guide them about approaches to skilling and how they can avail of benefits offered by the government through the Skill India program. They also counsel professionals about careers in woodworking, and the growth path they can achieve through appropriate training.
Other activities include skill orientation and certification for individuals and companies; upskilling/reskilling for the existing workforce; beginner training for freshers worth up to Rs 40,000*, placement & HR consultancy; and brand partnerships for skill initiatives.
FFSC’s agenda under its Mission 2025 is to skill, reskill and upskill 5,00,000 aspirants for various job opportunities. Through extensive contact programs across the country, it is inviting industry representatives to participate in its ongoing Skill Conscious Employer Program.
FFSC is also connecting job seekers and employers for training, apprenticeship, and jobs (TAJ) through its employment portal https://www.ffsctaj.in.
India Kitchen Congress is another important event where FFSC, as Knowledge Partner, will be engaging with leaders of the woodworking and modular furniture industry.
